My first thought is that there are several culinary schools in the Boston area. I wonder if any of them would be interested in hosting. -- Shava
Should we start an email list? -- Shava
I just started a google group for us: http://groups.google.com/group/cupcakeboston -- Erica
Another idea: If we could hold the event *at* a cooking school, maybe part of the event could be learning how to bake cupcakes really well, showing off techniques for potentially complex recipes (ie, fancy icings or whatnot). -- Erica
I might be jumping the gun a bit, but once the location and some other preliminary details are establisted I can try to notify the "Cupcakes Take the Cake" bloggers. They have covered the SF, Toronto and wil be covering the Sydney Camps. Maybe they can help spread the word. -- Anita
I agree with Anita. We should definitely contact CTTC once we get things squared away. Should we try to have a meeting to discuss things?

I know the Viking Showcase (Delias) in Westwood has built a beautiful kitchen where they hope to eventually have classes. It might be possible to rent the kitchen for an event. I teach some children cooking classes in Wellesley at the Rec. department and they hace a nice big kitchen. If any organizer lives in Wellesley, maybe they can rent the kitchen space there. Just some thoughts.
