Organizing Notes for June 1People baking/buying cupcakes to bring:
-------
Do we care about bakers vs. icers? I'm more of a baker than a decorater: Carla Baker with a dash of icer: Leslie I can bake, although I don't recommend icing or it'll be gone before it hits the cupcake: Glenda I'm willing to try anything twice and know peeps who will eat almost any mistake that involves chocolate. Kristin I added a few cupcake shops in the East Bay. I'm willing to tote them across the pond. -jo

More notes:
-Cupcake limit per person: 1 dozen large or 2 dozen mini -You need to have your cupcakes (how much and what type) submitted to Ariel by Friday, May 30 at Noon -otherwise we will have to do the unthinkable and reject your precious cupcakes (o noes!) -Timeslots: 8 (30 min. each - schedule posted day-of) -People bringing cupcakes need to bring them by 1:30pm the day of
Things we need: - plastic ziploc containers to hold/take home cupcakes - milk - soy milk - water - champagne (why not?) - plates - forks - napkins - knives - coffee, tea, sugar - cups - platters - frosting - sprinkles
Be prepared to take leftover cupcakes home. This is because it gets RLY scary when you do the math (e.g. if only 10 people brought a dozen cupcakes, that's 120 cupcakes that need eating!). Lynn and I can take *some* of your cupcakes off your hands and distribute them amongst our friendly Web 2.0 companies the next day (Get Satisfaction, Twitter, Pownce, Justin.tv, Adaptive Path, etc.).
